The Six Enemies — Series Index
The Six Enemies
The Vedic tradition does not tell you that you are basically good and just need to try harder. It tells you the truth: there are six enemies living inside you, and they are working against everything you are trying to build.
The Arishadvarga — the six internal foes — are named in the Bhagavad Gītā, the Upaniṣads, and across the Dharmaśāstras. They are not abstract categories. They are living forces: craving, rage, greed, pride, delusion, and envy. Left unexamined, they govern a man's life without his knowledge or consent.
This series is a field manual. Each post takes one enemy apart — its mechanics, its disguises in household life and male leadership, and what the tradition actually prescribes for defeating it.
